Westbrook man injured after car crash in Old Lyme: police – NBC Connecticut

A 19-year-old Westbrook man suffered serious injuries after crashing into a car and an embankment in Old Lyme early Friday morning, according to state police.

According to state police, the driver of a Chevrolet Impala was traveling north on Route 1 at about 12:47 a.m. when he lost control, drove into a front yard, struck an unoccupied Honda HR-V LX and an embankment, and eventually overturned.

LifeStar responded and flew the man to Hartford Hospital.

State police said he had serious injuries. They are asking witnesses to call Trooper Bly of Troop F at 860-399-2100.
