June 28 – July 11: Calls to Brentwood Police

Below is a selection of the Brentwood Police Calls between 28 June and 11 July, with a focus on the higher priority Call Answers in the City of Brentwood.

July 12: Juvenile Who Stabbed Brentwood Police Officer Receives 6 Years: On October 11, 2023, Brentwood Police Officers were alerted to a juvenile armed with a kitchen knife at Brentwood City Park. When officers arrived on the scene, they made contact with the 16-year-old juvenile. After numerous attempts to de-escalate the situation, the juvenile stabbed a Brentwood Police Officer who attempted to take the juvenile into custody. The officer, who suffered life-threatening injuries, was transported to a local hospital. We were relieved and thankful that the officer survived. On July 3, 2024, members of the Brentwood Police Department and the victim (police officer) attended the hearing on this case. The case was brought to trial and ended with the juvenile being sentenced to a Maximum sentence: 6 years This was the maximum penalty permitted by law.

  • 07/02 – Arlington Way: SOMEONE ENTERED AN RPS VEHICLE, BROKE THE WINDOW AND WALKED THROUGH.
  • 7/4 – Nash Ct: VEHICLE RECOVERED
  • 7/11 – Chaucer Dr: 2 handbags with documents stolen from locked vehicle

Bomb threat

  • 06/28 – Sand Creek Road: Manager called RP about bomb threat, customer called dispatch and 97 people walked down the aisle in the store saying he had a pipe bomb.

Burglary – Commercial

  • 7/6 – Central Blvd: SOMETIME IN THE LAST TWO DAYS – SOMEONE BROKE INTO HER BEAUTY ROOM AND TOOK HER IPAD. THE IPAD IS NOW TRACED IN ANTIOCH.
  • 7/8 – Central Boulevard: RP MUST FILE A REPORT – OCC’D THIS MORNING AT 5:07 AM.
  • 07/11 – Central Boulevard: Suspect entered building and used a crowbar to gain access to room – 7 pairs of scissors valued at $4,000.

Burglary – residential building

  • 06/28 – Chandler Dr.: Victim broke into garage and stole battery from garage door opener.

Forgery/Fraud

  • 01.07. – Divisi Ct: RP employee of an online platform was cheated via Bitcoin – 130,000 USD lost
  • 7/2 – Lone Tree Way: . KNOWN SHOPLIFTER MADE A FRAUDULENT RETURN, TAKING PRODUCT FROM THE FLOOR AND RETURNING IT WITH AN OLD RECEIPT
  • 03.07. – RP RECEIVED A NOTICE REGARDING A CREDIT CARD WITH AN OPEN BALANCE. LATER RP CHECKED HER BANK ACCOUNT AND FOUND A CHARGE
  • 03.07. – Fiorita Way: RP MISSING CRYPTOCURRENCY WORTH ABOUT 30,000 USD
  • 7/4 – Honeysuckle Ct: RP HAS BEEN WORKING FOR A COMP/CARGO LLC IN INDIANA FOR THE LAST 45 DAYS AND HAS NOT BEEN PAID. RP HAS DETERMINED THAT COMP IS A FRAUD
  • 7/4 – Fernwood Ln: RP was charged at Macys for $1,000 fraud on her credit card
  • 7/8 – Stewart Way: ACCOUNT WAS COMPRESSED, 23K BOUGHT. IT WAS A PAYPAL SCAM. RP HAS ALREADY CONTACTED THE BANK
  • 11.07. – Beatrice Ct: A bus manager was tricked into transferring $928,000 to an unknown account.

aggravated theft

  • 30.6. – Lone Tree Way: Locks cut off cages and merchandise worth about $2,000 stolen
  • 07/03 – Birchwood Rd: VEHICLE LEFT UNLOCKED – IPAD AND WIFI DEVICE STOLEN.
  • 07/03 – Empire Ave: 1/BFA 20-30 years, 6’0″, tan shirt, denim skirt, 2/BFA 20-30 years, 5’4″, all black clothing, caused loss of merchandise valued at approximately $2,600.
  • 07/05 – Lone Tree Way: WMA 40S and BFA 30S just took 30-40 pairs of Levis and left them in DRK GRY NISS ROGUE.
  • 7/6 – Lone Tree Way: 2 HMA’S LEFT WITH BOOTS VALUED $1200. SUSP 1: LSW BLU BBCAP SUNGLASSES W/ POLO/BAGGY PANTS/WHITE SHOES SUSP 2: WHI BBCAP W/ POLO/BLUE PANTS/BLACK SHOES. LEFT IN A BLUE CAMRY.
  • 07/09 – Sand Creek Rd: 1/BFA 40-50 years, black mask, black hoodie with warriors on it, blue pants with stripes, 2/HFA 40-50 years, approx. $1,000 – point left in property, circling in circle – blue KIA
  • 09.07. – Lone Tree Way: 2 BMAs broke into a garden tower cage and have now stolen items
  • 7/11 – Guthrie Lane: RSAYS HER VEHICLE WAS TAKEN UP A FEW WEEKS AGO – RP JUST FOUND OUT HER STORAGE ROOM WAS RANCHED BY 3 UNK MEN – SAYS THE RESP MAY HAVE FOUND THE KEY TO HER STORAGE ROOM IN THE CONSOLE PANEL

Identity theft

  • 7/8 – Hawthorn Pl: RP BELIEVES HIS FATHER CLAIMED HIS SOCIAL SECURITY # TOOK CREDIT / HAPPENED IN STOCKTON – HASN’T TALKED TO FATHER IN OVER 10 YEARS / RP RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF CREDIT REPORT.

Petty theft

  • 28.6. – Brentwood Blvd.: 20 feet of chain pickup
  • 28.6. – Sand Creek Rd: WFA collected about 23 USD
  • 6/28 – Lone Tree Way: Grab and Run – $92. WMA L20, black hair, LSW, black/khaki pants with black messenger bag left on foot.
  • 06/28 – Sand Creek Rd: Customer picked up her phone and was wearing it approximately 5 years ago. Black hat, grey t-shirt and black jeans over red shorts. An employee confronted him and the respondent said he had a “GUN” so the employee came back over.
  • 29.6. – Brentwood Blvd: BICYCLE STOLEN
  • 6/29 – Officer initiated activity at Lone Tree Way, Brentwood, CA. 488 INC. OF A FEMALE WHO PREVIOUSLY TAKEN 6 CROCS.
  • 29.6. – Balfour Rd: X, JUST LEAVING THE GROCERY STORE.
  • 6/29 – Lone Tree Way: RP’S VEHICLE DOOR WAS LEFT UNLOCKED AND BACKPACK WAS TAKEN, DAMAGE TO VEHICLE, RESP BELONGING TO BLU CHEVY OUTLANDER WITH DAMAGE TO REAR BUMPER, RP AND RESP VEHICLE ARE BOTH 97 ON PROPERTY, RESP VEHICLE OCCUPIED BY 2, RP IN A 2004 SIL HONDA ACCORD

  • 07/02 – Brentwood Blvd.: SUBJ/HMA HAT ONG SHIRT – POURING GAS FROM A BLACK SUV INTO A WATER JUG.
  • 07/03 – Central Blvd.: ALL TIRES REMOVED FROM VEHICLE. VEHICLE IS ON BRICKS.
  • 07/03 – Sand Creek Rd: RIM MISSING AND OTHERS ARE LOCKED – VEHICLE WAS ON A JACK.
  • 7/4 – Balfour Rd: Her wallet was stolen from the location early this morning and now transactions are being detected on her credit card
  • 07/04 – An officer initiated an action in Serene Ct, Brentwood, CA. MAIL THEFT.

  • 7/10 – Griffith Ln: ADVD YOU LOST A PREPAID VISA CARD WITH A $200 REWARD IN THE POOL. THE STAFF FOUND IT AND KEEPED IT IN THE OFFICE FOR YOU. WHEN YOU COLLECTED IT THERE WAS ONLY $127 ON IT, UNK WHO SPENT IT.

  • 06/30 – Lone Tree Way: RP says she was strangled outside the gym and emergency responders ran away on her Sil scooter.
  • 02.07. – Lone Tree Way: WMA, black hat, black clothing, black Vans with black pack, various men’s items stolen and LP thrown out, male, now that I see this, items for sale

  • 6/28 – Havenwood Ave.: RP’s PASSENGER WINDOW Smashed, NOTHING STOLEN FROM VEHICLE.

  • 07/08 – Brentwood Blvd.: RP’S TIRE PLACED ON A Honda CRV. RP BELIEVES THE PERSON WAS CONNECTED TO A DRK 4D TK WHO WAS UPSET BECAUSE SEVERAL VEHICLES WERE STOPPED IN ENT.

  • 7/2 – Occurred on Lone Tree Way
  • 7/4 – Blue Ridge Ave: Nissan 370Z was just stolen, the perpetrators broke the window
  • 7/4 – Tamalpais Ct: RP noticed her vehicle was gone, all keys were present
  • 7/5 – Palmilla/Pacifica: WILL RPT 10851
  • 07/10 – An officer initiated an action at Lone Tree Way/Jeffery Way, Brentwood, CA.
  • 7/10 – Lone Tree Way: DRK BLU 2005 GMC YUKON REG TO HIS WIFE. RP JUST SAW SOMEONE DRIVE IT OFF THE PROPERTY.
  • 10.07. – Lillian St.: SIL 08 INFI G35.
