Shock in Gwalior! Senior student rapes younger student in Premier School, complaint filed

Gwalior: A senior student at a prestigious school is alleged to have raped a junior student at the same school in the Gwalior region of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The incident reportedly took place on Saturday and is a high-profile case that is currently being investigated following the FIR.

The incident occurred at the school’s health center, the school’s administration told police. Both students visited the center for health reasons and were referred by the doctor. During this, the older student allegedly forced the other to undress and abused the minor in the toilet. When the younger student tried to scream, the older student covered the younger student’s mouth.

The younger student first informed the nurse, who then informed the doctor. The doctor informed the school administration and the school principal filed a complaint at Bahodapur police station. The school administration also summoned the parents of both students.

In particular, the children will be kept in separate rooms under the supervision of the school until their parents arrive.

In a statement, Niranjan Sharma, deputy commissioner of police, Gwalior, said, “The school principal received a complaint about a minor student being assaulted by another minor. He then filed a complaint against the senior student for the incident. An investigation into the incident is currently underway. The complaint was filed after the school reported the incident. Both the students are hostel residents.”
