Tucson police investigate Miracle Mile murder

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN 9) – Tucson police are investigating a north side homicide that occurred shortly after 2:00 a.m. on July 12.

According to police, officers responded to the 600 block of West Miracle Mile. Upon arrival, officers found a man with clear signs of trauma.

After rendering assistance, the Tucson Fire Department responded and continued life-saving efforts.

However, the man was pronounced dead at the scene and identified as 23-year-old Ian Lopez.

No suspects have been identified.
