AND WE WERE ABLE TO CONFIRM HIM AND CONTINUE THE INVESTIGATION FROM THERE :59) FROM THERE… A SOLEDAD DETECTIVE TOOK OVER THE PHONEOF THE BOY AND CONTINUED COMMUNICATION WITH PRICE…AND INVITED THE ACCUSED OF SEX TO GO BACK TO SOLEDAD…AND I INSTRUCTED HIM TO BRING CERTAIN ITEMS…HE AGREEMENT AND POLICE FOLLOWED HIM FROM HIS HOME IN SALINAS…(1:48 AND FOLLOWED HIM ALL THE WAY TO THE TOWN OF SOLEDAD WHERE WE BOTH HAD EXITS AND HAD DEPLOYED TAKEDOWN TEAMS BECAUSE WE DIDN’T KNOW WHICH EXIT HE WOULD TAKE. Salinas man arrested for alleged sexual assault of minor

A 20-year-old man was arrested for the alleged ongoing sexual assault of a minor, Soledad police said in a social media post. Investigators said they worked with the victim’s family and were able to identify the suspect. Police said they became aware of the case as early as February 2024. William Price, of Salinas, was arrested when investigators followed him from his residence as he entered the city of Soledad to meet with a minor victim, police said. He was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail on charges of arranging to meet with a minor and three other felonies, according to Monterey County Jail logs. His bail was set at $50,000. SOLEDAD, California —

A 20-year-old man was arrested for alleged sexual abuse of a minor, Soledad police said in a social media post.

Investigators said they worked with the victim’s family and were able to identify the suspect. Police said they became aware of the case in February 2024.

William Price of Salinas was arrested when detectives followed him from his residence as he entered the town of Soledad to meet with a minor victim, police said.

He was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail on charges of arranging to meet a minor and three other felony counts, according to Monterey County Jail records. His bail was set at $50,000.

Soledad police said there may be additional victims. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective Mario Vargas at 223-5125 or Detective Cecilio Lozano at 223-5164.
