However, weather warnings also cover disruptive weather events such as heavy rain and wind or when suboptimal weather conditions are expected during major events or commuter times.

Our 13 Weather Impact team may issue a 13 Weather Impact warning for an entire day, meaning severe weather is approaching and you need to take action. Or you may receive a warning for a few hours on a particular day, meaning you may need to adjust some plans during that time period.
