Bastrop police investigate shooting with two injured

BASTROP, Louisiana (KNOE) – Bastrop Police are investigating a shooting that occurred around noon Monday (July 8).

Authorities say the shooting occurred at the Joyce Apartments. When police arrived at the scene, they found two victims shot. One victim was shot once, the other multiple times.

According to BPD, both victims were taken by Pafford ambulance to Monroe Hospital.
