Westville man dies after accident with SR 2 – 95.3 MNC

A Westville man was killed in a traffic accident on State Road 2 in LaPorte County.

The collision occurred shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Monday, July 8, near County Road 500 West.

Initial investigations on site revealed that the driver of a 2015 Kia was traveling westbound. The vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree at the intersection.

The driver, 62-year-old George Dobos, was found in the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The causes of the crash are still being investigated.
