Police identify man killed in Bartlesville shooting; police search for shooter

A man is dead after a shooting early Monday morning in Bartlesville, police said.

Police identified 38-year-old Alexander Daugherty as the victim of the shooting.

At 12:50 a.m. Monday, a 911 call came in about a gunshot near the 1400 block of West Hensley, officials said. Officers said when they responded to the call, they learned a man was lying in the alley.

When officers arrived at the scene, they began life-saving measures until medical personnel arrived, police said. Daughterty was taken to a local hospital, where he died of a gunshot wound, according to police.

According to Bartlesville Police, Thomas Conway is a person of interest in their investigation.
