Russia hits Kyiv children’s hospital with massive missile attack – POLITICO

Andriy Yermak, head of Zelensky’s office, added that the Russians had deliberately attacked the hospital. “They deliberately attacked the children today,” Yermak said in a Telegram post on Monday.

So far, seven people have been killed and 25 injured in the attack in Kyiv alone, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said in a statement.

Debris and rockets caused massive destruction and fires in eight districts of Kyiv, Serhiy Popko, head of Kyiv’s regional military administration, said in a statement.

“Patients from the children’s hospital are being evacuated to other hospitals in Kyiv,” said Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

In total, 20 people were killed and more than 50 injured in the large-scale attack across the country, Klymenko said.

“Today the country has not felt fear, but even more anger and hatred. There will be a response to the terror against civilians and children,” he added.
