Married New Jersey teacher who “had an affair with a student” abused him twice in his car

This week, police in New Jersey arrested a second teacher accused of sexually assaulting a student in a “spree” that spanned several countries and involved multiple cases of abuse.

A married teacher in New Jersey has been charged with sexual assault for allegedly having sexual relations with a student.

Julie Rizzitello, a 36-year-old educator, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault, three counts of sexual assault and witness tampering. She is accused of engaging in “various sexual acts” with an 18-year-old student. The affair spanned three jurisdictions and involved meetings on “multiple occasions.”



She was accused of assaulting the student throughout the year in Belmar, Brick and Wall districts. The pair allegedly engaged in sexual acts in his car in Brick on May 14, and she later sent him nude photos, authorities said.

Rizzitello had to resign and faces multiple charges in two districts

Rizzitello has already resigned from her position. According to an affidavit obtained by NJ.com, Rizzitello and the student had multiple sexual encounters between April and June 14.

An investigation revealed that Rizzitello, who married in 2017, faces charges in Monmouth and Ocean counties. The case was investigated by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office’s Special Victims Unit and Wall Police, with assistance from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and Brick Police.

She is currently awaiting a court date in Monmouth County Superior Court where she will face the charges.

This incident followed the arrest of another teacher in New Jersey. Allison Havemann-Niedrach, 43, was a special education teacher and was taken into custody on June 29.

She describes herself online as a “passionate” educator, but now she is accused of sexually harassing one of her students at Freehold Intermediate School. The school only teaches students in sixth through eighth grades.

Her arrest was brought to your attention by the Monmouth County District Attorney’s Office and Freehold Police, who worked hard to arrest both teachers. The investigation revealed that she had allegedly begun sexually abusing a student earlier this year.

Given the student’s age and the nature of the case, details regarding the frequency of the alleged sexual assaults and the student’s age remain unclear.

Havemann-Niedrach is now charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault and second-degree endangering the welfare of a child; she can be seen smiling in her mug shot.
