29-year-old man found dead with gunshot wound in Dayton – identification

Dayton police were initially called to North Main Street around 10:05 a.m. for a shooting.

An officer, with the help of a local resident, found Jones in a vacant house in the first block of West Helena Street, a Dayton police spokesman said.

The homicide squad arrived at the crime scene and is continuing its investigation.
