20-year-old Alabama man killed in apparent fireworks accident

A Madison County man died shortly after midnight Friday in what appears to be a fireworks accident.

Don Webster of Huntsville Emergency Services said the incident occurred at approximately 12:03 a.m.

First responders were called to a home at Nick Davis Road and Pettus Road in Harvest.

A 20-year-old man was injured. He was taken to Huntsville Hospital, where he later died.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office and the Harvest and Monrovia volunteer fire departments responded to the scene.
