Roseburg Police Jail Man for Allegedly Making Past Threat – KQEN News Radio

Roseburg police arrested a man on Tuesday for an alleged previous threatening incident.

According to an RPD report, officers arrived at the victim’s residence in the 1300 block of Southeast Court Avenue on June 24. The victim claimed the 62-year-old suspect chased him out of the house with a kitchen knife while reaching for him with the knife. The victim later said he held his bathroom door shut while the suspect stabbed him through the door with the knife. The victim told officers he believed the suspect was going to kill him.

The suspect turned himself in to Roseburg Police at 2:00 p.m. He was arrested without incident. The man was charged with menacing. Bail was set at $6,250.
