Woman sexually abused a child and filmed it: court documents

CHARLOTTE, NC – (Warning: The story contains graphic details)

A 24-year-old man is under arrest and charged with seven counts of sexual exploitation of minors in east Charlotte.

Rhonna Jasmiya Horton is alleged to have engaged in sexual acts with a child, whose identity is not disclosed but who is between the ages of 4 and 6. According to court documents, Horton recorded several videos showing herself engaging in sexual acts with the child.

WCNC Charlotte has chosen not to release all of the details released in court documents due to the extremely disturbing nature of the crimes, but below is a summary of the actions taken.

Horton allegedly recorded videos of herself holding the child’s head and hand and forcing them to perform sexual acts on her while saying things like, “Does your mommy let you do that?” and “Do it again.” There is additional video evidence that shows Horton allegedly using sex toys on the child.
