MCSO: Arrests pending in Hartselle drug investigation

MORGAN COUNTY, Alabama (WHNT) – Several suspects have been identified after the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said they found nearly four pounds of meth in a Hartselle home.

According to a press release, agents with the MCSO Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant on a home on Barkley Bridge Road Friday evening as part of an ongoing investigation.

Agents found nearly 4 pounds of methamphetamine, a large amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the sheriff’s office said.

The MCSO said the Drug Enforcement Unit has identified several suspects and co-conspirators in the drug trafficking organization.

The investigation is ongoing and arrests are imminent.
