One man charged with nighttime shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A man has been charged in connection with a shooting incident that occurred overnight in Lexington.

According to Lexington police, officers were called to the 200 block of Waller Avenue at approximately 12:37 a.m. for a report of a firearm being used. There, officers discovered shell casings in the street and learned that a person in a car was shooting at another vehicle. Using license plate readers from the Real-Time Intelligence Center, officers were able to identify the vehicles involved and locate the suspect vehicle.

Kaden Brothers, 21, was arrested and is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center. He is facing six different charges, including three counts of first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree criminal mischief with a minor.
