Police arrested a Skiatook man on multiple charges related to a child.

Skiatook police said Wesley Rohrer is in custody and is charged with making lewd offers to a child, showing obscene material and violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

In making the arrest Friday, police worked with HSI’s Tornado Alley Child Exploitation & Trafficking Task Force, OSBI’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Creek County Sheriff’s Office and Osage County District Attorney’s Office.

Authorities said they were urging parents to monitor their children’s cell phones and technology and report inappropriate conversations.
