Amber Alert issued for missing Vallejo infant

The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert on behalf of the Vallejo Police Department Saturday morning for a newborn baby who is believed to be “in danger and has been abducted from his mother.”

Authorities are looking for 28-year-old Valerie Manning. She is described as 5’7″ tall, 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She drives a black 1991 Isuzu Amigo with license plate 2ZRD090. The infant, Braxton Manning, is 14 days old. He has brown hair, is 22″ long, and weighs 7 pounds.

Police began searching for Manning after Solano County Child Protective Services were unable to locate her. They are asking anyone with information about the possible child abduction to call 911 or Vallejo police at 707-553-3285.
