Police: Motorcyclist killed in Guilderland accident | News

GUILDERLAND – A motorcyclist was killed and another was seriously injured in a crash Thursday morning in Guilderland, police said.

The deceased motorcyclist died at the scene of the accident, police said. The second motorcyclist was taken to Albany Medical Center with serious injuries.

The incident occurred at about 6:50 a.m. and involved two motorcycles and a pickup truck in the area of ​​3925 Western Turnpike in Guilderland, police said.

According to preliminary investigations, three vehicles were involved. The driver of the truck was uninjured.

A press release issued Thursday afternoon did not provide any further details about how the crash occurred.

Members of the Guilderland Police Department were assisted by the Guilderland Emergency Medical Services, the Altamont Fire Department and the Albany County Accident Investigation Team.
