Naib Tehsildar Pahalgam suspended for leaving railway station without permission during yatra – Kashmir Observer

Srinagar- Authorities have suspended a Naib Tehsildar for leaving the railway station without permission and “sabotaging” the ongoing annual Amarnath Yatra.

“Ovais Amir, Naib Tehsildar Pahalgam is hereby suspended for leaving the channel without permission and sabotaging the ongoing SANJY 2024,” said an order issued by Deputy Commissioner Anantnag.

“In the meantime, the Sub-District Magistrate, Kokernag, shall investigate the matter for non-compliance of the Naib Tehsildar,” the order said. “The suspended person shall continue in office for the period of his suspension.”
