Person killed in shooting in Phoenix Hill district

The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating after a person was shot in the Phoenix Hill neighborhood Thursday night. At around 10:30 p.m., police were called to the 500 block of S. Shelby for a shooting. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s age was not released by police. There are currently no suspects. The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating after a person was shot in the Phoenix Hill neighborhood Thursday evening.

Police were called to the 500 block of S. Shelby around 10:30 p.m. for a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police did not provide any information about the man’s age.

There are currently no suspects.
