Monroe Police Arrest Suspect in Charles Johnson Park Shooting | KTVE

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

MONROE, Louisiana. (KTVE/KARD) – According to a Monroe Police press release, 19-year-old Trevon Harris was arrested on Thursday, June 27, 2024, on two counts of attempted premeditated murder in connection with the shooting that occurred on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Charles Johnson Park.

According to MPD, Harris was also previously arrested for illegal possession of a stolen firearm, illegal carrying of a weapon and a drug offense.
