Ship attacked in Red Sea in latest naval attack by Yemeni Houthi rebels | National

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — A ship sailing through the Red Sea was hit in an attack by Yemen’s Houthi rebels, the latest in a campaign targeting shipping amid the war between Israel and Hamas. The ship radioed off the coast of the rebel-held port city of Hodeida that it had been hit, according to private security firm Ambrey, which added that a warship in the area responded to the attack. Britain’s Maritime Trade Operations Centre also later reported the attack and said military authorities in the area were investigating. The Houthis later claimed responsibility for the attack, identifying the ship as the Seajoy and saying they used a drone boat in the attack.
