2 Cold Scorpio arrested after stabbing at a rest stop and charged with multiple crimes

Well-known wrestling veteran 2 Cold Scorpio is making headlines this week after he was arrested following a stabbing.

Charles Scaggs (2 Cold Scorpio) was arrested on June 15 in Kansas City, Missouri and charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action (both felonies) after getting into a fight with a man during an incident at Love’s Travel Stop, where Scaggs works as a security guard.

TMZ reports the following about the incident:

“During the scuffle, Scaggs told authorities he pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed the man in self-defense. The wrestler said the altercation continued for a few moments – and during the altercation he stabbed the man a few more times.

Police said when they arrived at the scene, they found the stabbed man lying on the ground… bleeding from his head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen. They added that he was taken to a local hospital… as he kept losing consciousness.

However, according to the documents, investigators were able to make contact with him later that day at the medical facility … where he allegedly told them Scaggs was the aggressor in that situation.”

Scaggs was released from jail on bail at the Clay County Sheriff’s Office on June 16 at 12:08 p.m. CDT.

Scaggs, 58, pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to appear in court in July.
