A British woman is said to have been raped by several men after attending a music festival in Paris.

She is also said to have been robbed and found crying and clutching her underwear on the street in the 1st arrondissement of Paris in the early hours of a Saturday morning.

It happened after she left a concert at the Olympiahalle – one of hundreds of music events taking place across the country to mark the “Fête de la Musique” – in English “Make Music Day”.

According to Le Figaro, police are investigating the incident but have not yet found any suspects.

This case occurred after five teenagers were injected with an unknown substance at a music event in Paris.

The girls, aged between 13 and 17, were dancing in the crowd when they suddenly felt stabbing pains in their arms.

They then developed symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, headaches and fever, eyewitnesses told Le Parisien.

Three of the girls said that marks were left on their left arms. No arrests have been made so far.

Two men were stopped but later released after police found no evidence linking them to the attacks.

The mayor of Saint-Maur, Sylvain Berrios, said incidents like this were “an extremely painful phenomenon” that was “difficult to stop”.

He said security measures and video surveillance around the site had been increased.

The CCTV cameras will be able to provide a live feed to the police surveillance center, which he said will help the police find the suspects.
