One dead in ATV accident in Schuylkill County

ASHLAND, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) – Schuylkill County Coroner David Moylan confirms one of them is dead after an ATV accident in Ashland Wednesday night.

Officials said just before 8 p.m. Tuesday, emergency crews were called to the 300 block of North Ninth Street for a reported ATV rollover.

According to authorities, the Schuylkill County Coroner was called to the scene.

Coroner Moylan told 28/22 News a woman died in the incident and an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.

The Ashland Fire Department and Ashland Police Departments are conducting an investigation into the incident.
