50 Cent is suing ex Daphne Joy after she accused him of abuse

More than a month after he was publicly accused of raping and physically abusing an ex-girlfriend Daphne Joy Narvaez During their relationship in 2011, the rapper sued, according to court documents obtained by E! present, for defamation. News.

The May 6 filing alleges that Narvaez’s abuse allegations in March stemmed from Jackson’s attempt to gain sole custody of her 11-year-old son, Sire, after he learned that she had been named as one of the sex workers Rodney Jones‘Lawsuit against Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. Narvaez denied these ties to Combs on her Instagram.

“Narvaez retaliated by immediately going online and posting multiple defamatory statements on her public Instagram account,” Jackson’s lawsuit states, “falsely and publicly accusing Jackson of rape and physical abuse during their previous relationship.”

The filing also states that he and his attorneys gave Narvaez “multiple opportunities to correct, clarify and/or retract her defamatory statements, all to no avail.” Jackson is seeking more than $1 million in damages, noting that it is “the serious harm intentionally caused by Narvaez’s false and defamatory statements.”
