Canton man hospitalized after car crash in Dewey County – EnidLIVE!

A Canton man was taken to OU Medical Center in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash in Dewey County.

Gabriel Rocha, 23, was driving his 2013 Dodge Charger south on County Road 2450 just before midnight Wednesday night. Rocha’s vehicle nearly veered left off the road, but ended up veering right when Rocha over-steered. The vehicle then rolled once in a ditch, went off a concrete culvert and came to rest in a creek.

Rocha was ejected from the vehicle during the accident. Air-Evac transported Rocha to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was admitted in critical condition.

Both Rocha’s condition at the time of the accident and the cause of the accident are currently being investigated.
