Child injured in pickup truck crash in Mattapan, police say – NBC Boston

A child was hit by a pickup truck while getting off a bus in Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood on Thursday, police said.

According to Boston police, the child was taken to the hospital from Morton Street to Lorna Road with minor injuries. The pickup truck, a Toyota Tundra, reportedly left the scene of the accident but returned.

According to Boston police, the investigation fell under the jurisdiction of the state police.
