Two workers killed when wall collapses

Two labourers were killed and three others injured when a 15-feet high wall collapsed in Pune district on Wednesday. The incident was reported around 8:30 am near a private establishment in Digrajwadi village, Koregaon Bhima. The dead were identified as Rajiv Ramyash Bind (31) and Manjit Ramtaur Ravidas (28), while Bandu Vidhate, Vijay Gaikwad and Satish Kangude were injured in this incident.

After the wall collapsed, two workers were trapped under the structure and several bicycles were damaged in the incident. A team of Shikrapur police rushed to the scene and provided necessary assistance to the injured.

MLA Ashok Pawar also visited the spot and directed that criminal charges be filed against those found guilty in the case.

As per the complaint of the injured party Bandu Vidhate, a case was filed against the owner of Musaddilal Properties Pvt Ltd under Sections 304(2) and 427 of the Indian Penal Code.
