2 homes damaged by bullets in McCandless incident; 1 person in custody – WPXI

MCCANDLESS, Pennsylvania – One person was arrested in an incident in McCandless on Wednesday in which two homes were damaged by gunfire.

Due to the developing situation, McCandless police and SWAT teams responded to Ringeisen Road around 4 p.m.

Police told us that someone fired shots from inside a home, causing visible bullet damage to the outside of the home and also damaging a neighboring home.

The neighbor told us that her house was hit eleven times and showed us the bullet holes and broken glass in her dining room.

What led to the shooting is currently unclear.
