UNIBEN graduate raped and beaten to death in Edo

A 22-year-old graduate of the University of Benin, Idowu Glory, was allegedly beaten, raped and killed in Iyowa Local Government Area of ​​Benin, the Edo State capital.

Glory is said to have left home on Thursday, June 13, 2024, to go to the institution to bury her body, but she returned lifeless after her remains were dumped near her parents’ house.

An X-user #softbaba24, who claims to be her brother, announced this in a series of tweets on his X-handle on Monday, June 17.

He wrote: “Justice for my younger sister Adekolure Idowu Glory who was raped and killed in Lyowa community of Benin, Edo State on her way back from school (UNIBEN). She went for burial and her body was dumped near her mother’s house.

“Help us get justice for my little sister who just graduated from the University of Benin in April 2024 and is still working on her projects and admissions office and was raped to death on Thursday June 13, 2024 on her way back from school, aged only 22.

“Her lifeless body was deposited at UBTH morgue on 15/06/24 with the assistance of Nigeria Police, Ekiadolor Division. She was beaten, raped and killed. Please Nigerians come to my aid. The help I need now is only for my innocent sister, my mother cannot control herself.

“Please everyone help me by retweeting and tagging those who can help me get justice.”
