The Master of the Plains exhibition is extended

A symbol of strength, resilience, and interconnectedness with the vast landscapes it inhabits, the buffalo holds a distinct place in the cultural heritage of the Northern Plains.

Revered by Native American tribes, the buffalo embodies the concepts of abundance, unity and harmony with nature.

Kamryn Miller works at the Center for Western Studies on the Augustana University campus, which is hosting an art exhibit celebrating the historical significance of the buffalo.

She joined us today to tell us more about the Ox: Master of the Plains exhibition and how you can see these works of art for yourself this summer.
