Another three-vehicle accident slows traffic on I-79 northbound

LOST CREEK, W.Va. (WBOY) — Another three-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 79 caused traffic delays late Wednesday morning.

Harrison County’s emergency log shows that four people were involved in the accident, which was reported shortly after 11 a.m., but all refused transport.


A 12 News reporter at the scene found that a Toyota involved had crashed into the guardrails that separate the north and south sides of the highway. Witnesses told our reporter they saw a truck hit the Toyota and then collide with another truck.

According to the report, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, Anmoore EMS, Lost Creek Fire Department and several Lewis County emergency personnel responded to the accident.
