Arrested after hit-and-run into a private home

LEXINGTON, Kentucky (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A man was arrested after a car crashed into a home early Saturday morning.

According to police, officers were called to Colchester Drive near Russell Cave Road around 1 a.m. because a car had crashed into a home.

When they arrived, they found that a car had driven through the front door of the house.

Three people in the house were able to leave the house and are uninjured.

Police confirmed that 18-year-old Bryan Arias-Gomes has been charged in connection with the incident.

He is currently being held at the Fayette County Detention Center.

Arias-Gomes is accused of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drugs, hit and run and driving without a license.
