URBANA – Two 18-year-old men are in custody following an armed robbery at an Urbana store Saturday afternoon, police said.

Shyjuan Dorris of Urbana and Jayden Jackson of Savoy were arrested by Urbana police on charges of armed robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and resisting a police officer causing injury, according to authorities.

At 1:44 p.m., police were called to the scene of an armed robbery at a local business. Upon arrival, they pursued the man, later identified as Dorris, on foot and eventually arrested him at a residence in the 1100 block of E. Colorado.
