One passenger died at the scene of the accident, police said. The driver and 22 other passengers were taken to hospital with injuries.

The northbound lanes of I-95 were closed pending the investigation but have since reopened, police said. No immediate charges were filed. The Maryland State Police Crash Team led the investigation.
