LANDRUM, SC (WSPA) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is seeking information regarding an incident that left a man dead on the side of the road in Landrum.

We previously reported that a body was found at 6:25 a.m. Saturday in the area of ​​North Highway 14 and Smith Road in Landrum.

The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Justin Scott Grooms. Officials are still working to determine the cause and manner of the 40-year-old’s death.
