Missing man found dead a mile from his burned pickup truck | The mighty 790 KFGO

RAMSEY COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – A missing man was found dead about a mile from his burned pickup truck at Devil’s Lake.

Ramsey County Sheriff Bryan Lang says authorities have recovered the body of a Crary man who was reported missing Wednesday. Lang says 51-year-old Shawn Guy was found on the east shore of Devils Lake Thursday afternoon.

Guy was found less than a mile from his pickup truck, which was destroyed by fire. There is no suspicion of foul play in the death.

Multiple agencies assisted in the search, including Lake Region Search and Rescue, the Civil Air Patrol, the Benson County Sheriff’s Department and the Lake Region UAS team.
