Crash closes section of Southern State Parkway in West Babylon

According to State Police, all lanes on the Southern State Parkway are closed between Exits 36 and 37 in West Babylon due to a multi-vehicle crash.

According to state police, a car left the roadway and drove into a wooded area.

It was not immediately clear what caused the accident, how many people were injured or how long the lanes would be closed.
