Motorcyclist killed in collision with car at Millcreek intersection

MILLCREEK, Utah (ABC4) — A motorcyclist was killed Friday night when he collided with a vehicle at an intersection in Millcreek, according to Unified Police.

The accident occurred at the corner of 3900 South and Highland Dr., police said. A motorcyclist was reportedly traveling north on Highland Dr. when he turned and headed west on 3900 South.

At the same time, a vehicle was traveling southbound on Highland Dr. when the driver ran a green light. While crossing the intersection, the driver reportedly collided with the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Further details about the circumstances of the crash are not yet available. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed either.
