5 shots, 2 dead near the University of Cincinnati campus

CINCINNATI – Five people were shot and at least two people were killed in Corryville early Monday morning, police said.

The shooting occurred around 3 a.m. in the 300 block of East University Avenue near the University of Cincinnati campus.

According to police, two of the people shot suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and two others were confirmed dead.

The condition of the fifth person is currently unknown.

It is unclear what led to the shooting.

There is currently no information available about possible suspects.
