Man pleads to rape of minor in Quakertown grocery store parking lot – NBC10 Philadelphia

A Bucks County man has pleaded guilty to charges that he raped a teenage girl he had communicated with on social media in the parking lot of a Quakertown grocery store last year.

Court records say Miguel Angel Sanchez, 32, of Sellersville, pleaded guilty Monday to rape, sexual assault, involuntary sexual intercourse, human trafficking and related offenses after being charged with raping a 15-year-old girl in one incident , which happened last year.

Officials said an investigation into Sanchez began after the teen told police that he attacked her in his vehicle on Oct. 23 in the parking lot of a Giant grocery store on the 1400 block of W. Broad Street in Quakertown.

Officials said an investigation into this case revealed that a vehicle registered to Sanchez was seen on surveillance video from the store at the time of the alleged incident.

Officials said the girl told police she had caught Sanchez before and interacted with him on Snapchat, where he paid her to make sexually explicit videos.

Sanchez was arrested on November 3rd.

Officials said Sanchez’s sentencing was postponed until August so he could undergo a sex offender review.
