The family of the victims killed in the Saline County double murder is speaking out

SALINE COUNTY, Arkansas – A family in Saline County is speaking out days after their loved one died in a double murder.

Authorities in Saline County confirmed that 38-year-old Brittany Taylor and 40-year-old David Taylor were killed on Saturday, May 4th.


The family released the following statement:

“Our families are devastated and heartbroken by the tragic and senseless deaths of David and Brittany Taylor. At this time, we ask for time and space to process the horrific events of Saturday evening. We believe the SCSO will release its statement at the appropriate time. We would like to thank family, friends, the automotive industry, and the East End and Sheridan communities for their love and support. They are a true embodiment of the Taylors’ spirit. A Go Fund Me has been set up to directly help her children and we are very grateful to everyone who shared or donated. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.”

Investigators said 37-year-old Bryan Reed was arrested in connection with the killings.

He is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a minor. He is being held without bail at the Saline County Detention Center.
