2 people and 1 dog killed in house explosion

PRINCETON TOWNSHIP, Minn. (KELO) — A house explosion in central Minnesota has left two people dead.

It happened in Princeton Township, which is about 55 miles north of Minneapolis.

According to authorities, a 60-year-old man and a 61-year-old woman and their dog were killed.

A local resident said he heard a large explosion.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the state fire marshal.
