Teens arrested in Kenenwick for assault and robbery in April | News

KENNEWICK, Wash. – According to a Facebook post, Kennewick police arrested two teenagers on Wednesday, May 29, in connection with an assault and robbery in April.

According to KPD, a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old attacked another 17-year-old in the 5500 block of West Hildebrand Boulevard and stole his branded sweatshirt and shoes.

According to the KPD, the attack was not random, but occurred as a result of a conversation between the victim and a woman who was known by one of the suspects.

Both teens were arrested with the assistance of a KPD Student Resource Officer and Kennewick’s Criminal Apprehension Team in the same area where the first attack occurred.

The teens were taken to the Benton County Jail and face charges of assault and robbery.
