“Two days ago, on June 8th, my husband Ben Potter passed away in an unfortunate accident,” wrote Nathalie. “To many of you, he was a comic storyteller who told stories from a variety of mediums. To his loved ones, he was one of the best and most supportive people you could ask for. As a husband, son, brother, friend, or even just a stranger, Ben was loving and genuine. He was someone who listened and made time for his loved ones. He did his best to make everyone laugh and make sure they were OK. He was our rock, reassuring his loved ones whenever they needed it.”

In her statement, Nathalie did not provide any further details about the “unfortunate accident” or reveal the cause of her husband’s death. Potter started his YouTube account in 2014 to express his love of comics. He has published opinions, reviews and analysis of comic books and film adaptations and has worked with DC, Marvel, Sony and Warner Bros. over the years, according to his social media accounts.

“His channel was one of his greatest achievements and while we all need our time to mourn his passing, I know he wouldn’t have wanted it to end this way. Ben spent over 10 years spreading his love and appreciation for his hobbies. His love of engaging stories and well-written characters is what got him started on YouTube,” added Nathalie.

Potter also had a gaming channel called Eligible Monster Gaming, which had nearly 200,000 subscribers, and a vlog and manga channel called Mangastorian, which featured comics and graphic novels from Japan. the New York Post reported. Nathalie said she and Ben’s team plan to continue his popular YouTube channel to honor his legacy.

“The team and I want to keep this going,” Nathalie wrote. “To honor him by continuing to tell great stories about great people, and to keep the memory of our own superhero alive. We supported each other in everything we wanted to do, and I’m not going to stop now.”
