British tourist claims sexual assault in Ghana

Karen, a British tourist, has revealed that she was sexually assaulted during her road trip from London to Cape Town, Ghana.

While traveling with her companions James and Spence, Karen shared the disturbing incident on Instagram, where the trio documented their experience.

The trio, who took a road trip from London to Cape Town on March 13, 2024, have documented their adventures on Instagram and gained a large following of over 324,000 fans.

In a recent post, Karen opened up about the incident that happened while she was resting by a waterfall in Ghana.

She said in part: โ€œI lay on the bench by the waterfall and dozed a little to the relaxing sound of the roaring waterfalls.

โ€œI opened my eyes and to my surprise saw a man staring at me with his pants down and masturbating a meter away from me.

โ€œI was in complete disbelief and immediately told him to stop and jumped off the bench. He continued his shameful act and I said I would report him to the police for sexual assault. โ€

The friends, who have been traveling for months, have experienced a mix of exciting experiences and challenges, including car problems, meetings with local police and a dinner in the Sahara.

The trio has had stints in France, Spain, Morocco, Western Sahara, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Ivory Coast and now Ghana.

They also had the privilege of meeting the British High Commissioner to Gambia, Harriet King, and her family.
