Omar Lulu denies allegations of sexual assault against him

On Tuesday, Malayalam film director Omar Lulu denied the allegations of sexual assault made against him. According to Onmanorama, he claimed that the complaint was filed to extort money from him. Onmanorama quoted Omar Lulu’s statement, which read, “I have been friends with this girl for a long time. She has accompanied me on many trips. However, there was a rift in our friendship and we have not been in touch for six months. She has also acted in my last film.”

Now, when the new film was released, she came forward with such a complaint. The motive behind such an allegation could be her frustration at not being given a chance in the film. Sometimes it could also be part of an attempt to extort money.”
